On July 19, SQI President Ji Fei led SQI delegation to Shanghai graphene industry technology functional platform (hereinafter referred to as the " graphene platform") for research work. Division of Sci&tec and information, Institute of Quality Inspection of Electronics and Electrical Appliances, Institute of Fiber Quality Inspection participate in the research.

On the seminar, Mr. Meng Yan,chairman of SC Graphene introduced the background and development of graphene platform and the first series of Industry university research cooperation projects. She introduced that the function of the platform is expanding. On the basis of pilot research and development base,they would prepared for the construction of testing centers and developing innovative testing methods and testing equipment for graphene and its products.

President Ji Fei introduced the working situation and typical cases in new material and new energy testing development. He said that SQI pay attention on the detection technology of advanced carbon materials represented by grapheme and hoped to provide testing service for grapheme platform and search for collaborative innovation model research.

Both side hoped to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation and to find the best combination point so as to co-culture innovation team and talents of grapheme and to promote the standardization of graphene products. Both side hoped to development of the whole industry and  strengthen key technical problems of industry forefront in order to provide technological innovation for the construction of Shanghai four new economic development and innovation center.
