On July 20, the first session of Shanghai Food Contact Materials Association inaugural meeting was held in Shanghai. As one of the nine sponsor units of the association, SQI was invited to the session. President Ji Fei and Vice President Bi Ning attended the meeting.

The conference was conducted by secret ballot and selected SQI as the director unit of the first session of Shanghai Food Contact Materials Association. At the same time, Mrs.Zhang Ruohong, director of Institute of Quality Inspection of Light Industry and Chemical Products was selected as executive vice president. Mr. Zhou Wei was selected as secretary general of the association.

Shanghai Food Contact Materials Association is a professional association established by Shanghai Zijiang enterprise group Limited and other 10 units. It would be committed to build food contact materials in the field of technology exchange platform and to play the role of the link between the government and food contact materials production assistant. It would promote the material production technology development and improve the quality and safety of food contact materials in Shanghai.
